Memorial Day in Memphis

Alan and I went to Memphis with his parents and sister for Memorial Day weekend. We wanted to get down there and see family while I was still able to travel. His sweet family even threw us a little shower while we were there! His aunt Kitty had saved this guest bag from our wedding (almost 7 years ago!) and turned it into a creative shower bag :) I am overwhelmed by the love we have felt from others during our pregnancy and the love so many have for our sweet boy already!

Time for a Shower

My next shower was thrown by several of my mom's best friends. These women have seen me grow up over the years and have loved me like one of their own. It was a very special time with some dear friends.

My first shower was thrown by Susan's sweet friends. It is truly overwhelming to experience the love that goes into these parties, it is such a blessing!

Kentucky Derby

Our sweet friends Lori & David host a Derby Party every year and although I couldn't enjoy a mint julep this year, we had a wonderful time with friends placing our bets, eating good food, and cheering during the race!
