Erica's 28th Birthday!

My birthday began bright and early with breakfast at...
...with good friends!

Alan set the whole thing up and we had a great time together laughing and enjoying each other over eggs, pancakes, and other southern-country goodness.
It was fun having my birthday on a weekend and we spent the rest of the day relaxing and then getting ready for dinner at...
Our dinner did not disappoint!
A few birthday surprises...
the ballet flats... best idea ever!

Alan got me something sparkly from the other man in my life...
My mom remembered about a china collection I started a couple of years ago and got me a few additions from...
...and the day was finished with a yummy chocolate cupcake from The Cup... my husband knows what he is doing. So happy about a fun-filled day but even more thankful for the fantastic friends and family I have!

Ashley's Baby Shower

This past weekend, all of my college sorority sisters and I got together in Nashville to "shower" Ashley as she prepares for her first baby, a boy: Riggs Crocker Leonard. We are all thrilled!
sweet cupcakes that Rachel made
I made cake pops :)
sweet Riggs is adored already!
Instead of a game, we had everyone fill out "Wishes for Baby' cards which we read as we opened presents, so much fun (and you can find the template on Pinterest for free) !
Looking forward to May already!!!

Bag-A-Bargain

Yesterday I got quite the work-out...but not like you might expect. I went to the Jacob Building at Chilhowee Park to help other league members set up for our Bag-A-Bargain sale this coming Saturday (you can buy tickets at the door for $5). We helped unload moving trucks a l l d a y. See all of the furniture below? Yeah... none of that was there yesterday morning. We really did get quite a bit accomplished and I am so glad so many people have donated to this great fundraiser. If you don't mind digging for deals you should come and check it out!

Knoxville Fashion Week

Last night Janie and I went to the
Grand Finale
While this was not New York, it was still as Carrie Bradshaw would say, "Fabulous!"
We got a red carpet snapshot...cheers!
I was so happy to see Belleza there to do all of the amazing styles for the event
Diana Warner did the first show and it was great! I got to introduce Janie to her before the show, and I think we both saw a few things we have added to our wardrobe list of "must-haves" :)
Our seats were great - they could not have been better!
Donovan Swick did the other show of the night, and while his taste is a bit extreme, I found myself holding my breath at times in anticipation of the outfits.. wowza!
All in all, fantastic night! Janie and I have also decided that we LOVE fashion shows and what better place to go someday than NYC?! ...it is now on the Bucket List.
